JCA Technologies is committed to exceeding our customers’ expectations for quality and performance. We strive to ensure this quality through extensive in-house and third-party testing, with strict adherence to product specifications and industry standards.
As such, our products carry a standard 12-month limited warranty (90 days when they are used in commercial applications). It warrants that the goods furnished will be free from defects in material or workmanship. The warranty is limited to repairing or replacing products which prove to be defective upon our inspection. Any misuse or alterations of goods voids all warranties. Individual products may have additional or different warranties as stated on product literature, package inserts or product packages. A Return Goods Authorization number (RGA #) must be requested and obtained in advance of arranging the return of any product.
Products covered are all products originally manufactured by JCA Technologies Integration Center.
Standard Warranty Term and Conditions
JCA Technologies warrants that its product will conform to its applicable specifications and will be otherwise free from defects in material and workmanship for a period of 12 months from the date the product is shipped from its factory (the “Warranty Period”).
JCA Technologies must be given immediate notice of any defect and the opportunity to inspect the product to determine whether a breach of warranty has occurred. Before a warranty claim is initiated, contact JCA for customer support (204-415-1104) and perform any requested troubleshooting to either resolve or verify the concern. If it is agreed that the product may be defective, then a JCA customer support representative will provide you with a Return Goods Authorization number (RGA #). Items may not be accepted without the proper paperwork and RGA number.
If it is agreed to scrap product at a customer location, an RGA # is still required.
To properly complete an RGA request, the customer must provide the following detail:
- Quantity, part number, revision (where applicable) and description of the product
- Reason you wish to return the product
- Serial number(s) where applicable
- Corresponding purchase order number and JCA sales order or invoice number
All shipping costs are borne by the Purchaser. Should a breach of warranty be confirmed, then a claim for reimbursement of shipping costs may be made through a JCA customer support representative.
This warranty covers only products manufactured at the original manufacturing location. All repairs or replacements covered by this warranty will be shipped to the destination point specified in the original order. For replacements, where an identical item is unavailable, an alternative, comparable product may be shipped back and that product may be new or recertified.
If JCA Technologies replaces a product under this warranty, the replacement will be warranted for the balance of the original Warranty Period. Repairs beyond the new-product warranty carry a 90-day repair warranty.
JCA Technologies sole responsibility under this warranty will be to repair or replace, at its option and expense, any product found to be defective during either installation or normal or proper use. Improper installation of product includes, but is not limited to, failure to follow documented instructions provided by the manufacturer, failure to follow the technical support troubleshooting process, cutting wires/cables, cutting off or removing connectors, or any modification to the product unless instructed to do so by JCA technical support. This warranty does not apply to normal wear and tear or damage caused by negligence, lack of maintenance, accident, abnormal operation, improper installation or service, unauthorized repair, fire, floods, and acts of God, nor does the policy cover any damages incurred during shipment.
All costs incidental to repairing or replacing defective products, including but not limited to removal, disassembly, reinstallation and reconstruction, will be borne by the Purchaser, and in no event will JCA Technologies be liable for such costs.
THE FOREGOING CONSTITUTES JCA TECHNOLOGIES’ SOLE AND EXCLUSIVE OBLIGATIONS AND LIABILITIES. JCA TECHNOLOGIES MAKES NO OTHER WARRANTIES ON ITS PRODUCTS, EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING AND WITHOUT LIMITATION ANY WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. ALL OTHER WARRANTIES ARE EXPRESSLY DISCLAIMED.
In no event will JCA Technologies be liable for any incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages of any nature or kind, however arising, whether in contract, tort or otherwise, even if JCA Technologies is deemed to be aware of the possibility of such damages. JCA Electronics, in no event, will be responsible for any claims or damage arising out of or connected with this warranty or the manufacture, sale, delivery, installation, or use of the product in excess of the purchase price of the product. The Purchaser is responsible for determining whether the JCA Technologies product is fit for a particular purpose and suitable for Purchaser’s application. Any warranty claims brought to our attention post-installation will be reviewed and addressed on a case-by-case basis. The products manufactured are specific to their application. The JCA Technologies Warranty is not an insurance policy.
JCA Technologies offers an extended, limited warranty on certain electronic products. Registration is required and the warranty is administered by JCA Technologies. To learn more, please contact your JCA sales representative.
